 Ideal candidates must have:

• Experience in teaching Art and Design Technology lessons for secondary students.
• Prepare resources to support the delivery of lessons and art/design initiatives.
• Share outstanding practices- a creative and enthusiastic approach both in and out of the classroom.
• Support in providing marking and feedback which helps in the assessment of students knowledge and mastery of art and design skills.
• Create a motivating learning environment that engages students when they are in art & design lessons.
• Excellent IT and design skills focused to improve progress and attainment of students.
• Demonstrate an ability to be flexible and adaptable when dealing with the needs of individual students.
• Plan creative and inspiring lessons, activities and learning environments.
• Key skills in one or more of the following areas: Graphics, Fine Art will be highly considered.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and appropriate specialisation in art & design or related subject. Have a minimum of 2 years full time teaching, post-qualification teaching experience in the same field. Be passionate about children’s learning and improving creative talents.
